Fashion may be my favorite 'F' word but food is a close second! Luckily for me, this year's Fash Bash had plenty of both. The annual fundraiser for the Detroit Institute of Arts is organized by the museum's Founders Junior Council in partnership with Neiman Marcus.
The theme for this year's fashion show and afterparty was a "medley of unexpected happenings guaranteed to be pure fun and entertainment"; And that it was!
The night kicked off with the Neiman Marcus fashion show with the lovely models strutting down the runway.
After the show it's the after-party! The Lincoln Black Label after-party was full of surprises left and right and they got better throughout the night. Once the show concluded, the DJ took the stage and the beat dropped signaling it was indeed party time.
I even had the chance to take a look at the Black Label MKZ and Continental. Lincoln's Black Label line of vehicles comes with premium materials, great attention to detail, and exclusive membership benefits.
I want one of these when I grow up!
Oh, and I'm getting to the best part....the foooood! Can you hear my mouth watering as I type? LOL. Ok..so, they had mini tacos, buffalo hot dogs, egg rolls and plenty of alcohol.
The food was too good ya'll.
Now for the fashion... I received so many compliments on my outfit throughout the night. The best part was how affordable my look was. Details below:
Top: A few years old from Nordstrom
Pants: $33 from one of my favorite stores in Miami
Shoes: Aldo from DSW ( after sales, a coupon and my rewards points I paid 1 penny...you read that correctly)
...and that's the reason why I started House of Rehab; To continue to prove that you don't have to spend a ton of money to look fabulous.
Can't wait until next year's event!
