Maybe it's because I'm a former Nordy girl or I'm just obsessed with shopping for the Fall season; Either way, I look forward to the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale every year. Do I need anything? Nope! But, who can resist being the first to get their hands on Fall fashions at a discounted price? Nordstrom is the only retailer to host a sale of this kind and if you want to make the most of it, you'll need to follow my 5 tips below.

Shop the Nordstrom Anniversary Catalog 

In a few days, your local Nordstrom store will be revamped to make room for tents filled with exclusive merchandise at a temporary discounted price. In order to navigate and make the best of the sale, you need to be prepared. Get your hands on the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale catalog and start making a wish-list. This way, you have a clear idea of what you want and how much you're going to spend. Below are 5 of my favorites that I would love to get my hands on:

Become a Nordstrom card holder

So, you've picked out you're must haves; Made your list and checked it twice; Now what? Well, if you want to be sure you get your hands on your favorite items, you need to shop the early access sale. Nordstrom debit and credit card holders can shop the sale July9th-16th before it opens to the public on July 17th. 

Rise and Shine

While people may not camp out for this sale, they definitely get there early. Stores typically open a few hours earlier to give customers maximum shopping time. However, if you're like me and hate crowds, stay home. You can shop the sale online from the comfort of your home. 

Try it On

With a sale like this, people do a lot of impulse buying. Therefore, I recommend trying on your items while you're at the store. You don't want to risk getting the wrong size only to realize later that the item is now sold out. 

Buy Now and Decide Later

 Nordstrom's generous return policy can be a life saver. So, you can rest assure that you can change your mind if your love affair with your impulse buy wears off later on. 

Don't be Tardy

This party ends on August 3rd and prices go up. Nothing hurts more than the things we don't buy...when they're on sale!
