Ever feel like you never really live up to your full fashion potential because people just won't "get it"? Sometimes we let the four walls of our city or community dictate how far we are willing to push the envelope. While in Miami for the week, I had this same conversation with a friend. I felt "fashionably free", if you will. Maybe because I didn't know these people so I didn't care what they thought or because everyone else seemed to be so "free". Miami is an excuse to do whatever you want and wear whatever you want. But, shouldn't you feel that way wherever you are? 

My Advice: Don't dumb down for your audience. Wear what you like, even if people don't get it. Who cares? Chances are they were never going to get it in the first place! Let's make the world a better place (LOL), and pledge not to dumb down our fashion anymore.
